Our Commitment

All referrals come from cooperating social service and public agencies. No personal applications are accepted.

All recipients remain anonymous unless otherwise agreed upon.

All money is distributed - typically 98% - using a pre-approved formula based on the funds raised and divided by the number of referrals.

 Distribution is by checks with no strings attached regarding the use of the checks.

All Bureau members are volunteers and unpaid.

The Christmas Bureau of Palo Alto was recognized as “The Outstanding Nonprofit Organization” in 2007 and was presented “The Tall Tree Award” proudly co-presented by The Palo Alto Chamber of Commerce and The Palo Alto Weekly
